MRV Architects is leading design on improvements to the Ketchikan Airport ferry access.  The project, working with DOT, develops new visitor accommodations to provide comfortable ferry access to the Ketchikan Airport, supporting both pedestrians and vehicles.  The total project scope is approximately $4,000,000 for buildings and canopies, and $12,000,000 for site improvements.

Project details include the creation of an attractive waiting building on the Ketchikan community side, in combination with extensive drop-off and pick-up canopies.  Work also includes reconstruction of pedestrian canopies and waiting areas on the airport island side, allowing a comfortable pedestrian and baggage handling solution for both sides of Tongass Narrows.
