The Eaglecrest Hilda Dam Cabin is a pro bono design for the Juneau Community Foundation. It first opened Saturday September 28th, 2019 with a big celebration and ribbon cutting. MRV is proud to have been the architects selected. The design by architect Zane Jones of MRV was selected from a friendly competition among local architects.
Huge thanks to an amazing team volunteering from Eaglecrest, Juneau Community Foundation, PND Engineers and Triplette construction to name a few. The cabin is 400sf with huge views, spacious dining area, bunks for up to 10 people and a covered view deck.
The cabin is community owned and designed to bring people of all abilities together in the way Juneau loves. Zane is a proud volunteer for ORCA adaptive ski program at Eaglecrest and can’t wait to introduce them to it. To learn more about the project, visit their website.
