Ketchikan High School Renovation
In a joint venture with JYL, Ketchikan High School was expanded and renovated in a large, multi-phase project totaling 175,000 square feet -of which 125,000 square feet was new construction. The exterior of the building features low-maintenance ceramic tiles. The new commons area is the focal point of the school, featuring a tiered design of windows that allow natural light to flow into the heart of the space. A major component of this project was entirely new mechanical and electrical systems throughout. The project included many specialized spaces such as gymnasium, community auditorium, library, science laboratories, and music rehearsal spaces.
